March 29, 2026 - The Wells Motorsports team invaded East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama and Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia on March 27-28 for a pair of World of Outlaws Late Model Series contests. On Friday night with a $12,000 top prize on the line at EAMS, Chris Madden ran second in his heat race prior to starting and finishing fifth in the 40-lap feature behind only winner Nick Hoffman, Daulton Wilson, Tim McCreadie, and Jonathan Davenport. At Senoia on Saturday evening with a $20,000 payday up for grabs, Chris placed second in his heat race and fourth in the 50-lapper behind only victor Bobby Pierce, Ashton Winger, and Nick Hoffman. MADDEN WINS ANOTHER MARCH MADNESS TITLE!!

March 22, 2026 - Chris Madden, of Gray Court, South Carolina, recorded yet another 'March Madness' title on Saturday, March 21 at the nearby Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina! Chris dominated the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals Series show by earning Fast Time honors during the qualifying session, winning his heat race, and leading every circuit in the rain-shortened feature event. When the event was deemed official by race control, Chris was awarded the hefty $20,053 first place prize over runner-up Zack Mitchell, Tucker Anderson, Brandon Overton, and Ben Watkins! TOP FIVE FOR CHRIS MADDEN AT BULLS GAP!

March 15, 2026 - Fresh off Speedweeks, the Wells Motorsports team found themselves at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee and Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee on March 13-14 for a pair of World of Outlaws Late Model Series throwdowns. On Friday with a $12,000 top prize up for grabs at "The Gap," Chris Madden earned Fast Time honors during qualifying, won his heat race, and led early in the 40-lap feature before placing a strong fourth at the finish behind only winner Mike Marlar, Ricky Thornton, Jr., and Bobby Pierce!

At Smoky Mountain on Saturday, a hefty $20,000 top prize was up for grabs in the annual running of the 'Tennessee Tipoff.' Chris once again laid down the quickest lap overall during qualifying before securing another triumph in his heat race. After leading the first 36 circuits from the pole position, "Smokey" appeared headed to a strong runner-up performance before getting caught up in a grinding wreck with only two circuits remaining in the 50-lapper. "SMOKEY" COMPETES IN ALL-TECH TRIPLE SHOT

February 22, 2026 - The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series kicked off their 2026 campaign from February 19-21 at All-Tech Raceway in Ellisville, Florida. The first of three high-profile events took place on Thursday night and a $10,000 payday was up for grabs. Chris Madden ran sixth in his heat race and won his B-Main, but was later an early retiree in the 40-lap feature and was relegated to a twenty-sixth place showing.

On Friday evening with a $12,000 top prize on the line, Chris qualified well and won his heat race, but later wound up twenty-first in the final finishing order of the 50-lap main event. In Saturday's weekend finale, which boasted a hefty $15,000 winner's check, Chris placed fourth in his heat race and fifteenth in the 50-lapper. MADDEN BACK AT VOLUSIA FOR DIRTCAR NATIONALS

February 14, 2026 - A Valentine's Day shootout wrapped up the 55th Annual 'DIRTcar Nationals' tonight at Volusia Speedway Park and 56 race teams signed into the Daytona Beach-area speedplant to do battle for a hefty $20,000 paycheck. Chris Madden earned Fast Time honors during World of Outlaws Late Model Series qualifying and later won his heat race during preliminary action. February 13, 2026 - Chris Madden returned to action with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series tonight at Volusia (FL) Speedway Park in round five of the 'DIRTcar Nationals,' which also boasted a $12,000 first place prize. Chris placed second in his loaded heat race, but was later caught up in an opening lap incident during the 35-lapper. At the checkers, "Smokey" was relegated to a disappointing twenty-eighth place effort.

February 12, 2026 - The World of Outlaws Late Model Series roared into the Daytona Beach area to preside over their first event of the annual 'DIRTcar Nationals.' A $12,000 top prize was up for grabs earlier this evening at Volusia Speedway Park and a total of 58 Super Late Model competitors were packed into the pit area at the 1/2-mile speedplant. Chris Madden timed in second quickest in Group A during qualifying, won his heat race, and later placed fifth in the 35-lap feature behind only race winner Nick Hoffman, Tim McCreadie, Bobby Pierce, and Tyler Erb.

February 11, 2026 - Tonight's DIRTcar Racing program at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida was headlined by a trio of split-field features - each of which paid $5,000 to the winner. Chris Madden topped his group during qualifying to earn Fast Time honors, but was later inverted four spots for the start of the 20-lap main event. "Smokey" then picked off a pair of cars during the contest to record an impressive runner-up performance behind only victor Tyler Erb!

February 10, 2026 - Round two of the 'DIRTcar Nationals' was held tonight at Volusia Speedway Park and another $7,000 payday was on the line for the ground-pounding Super Late Models. Chris Madden stopped the clock second fastest in his group during time trials before placing second in his heat race and ninth in the 25-lapper.

February 9, 2026 - The 55th edition of the 'DIRTcar Nationals' kicked off for the Super Late Models earlier this evening and a $7,000 winner's check was up for grabs in a DIRTcar Racing event. A total of 56 competitors were on the grounds at Volusia Speedway Park for the first of six straight nights of action. Chris Madden timed in second quickest in his group during qualifying prior to finishing second in his heat race and sixteenth in the 25-lap main event.

January 24, 2026 - The annual ‘Sunshine Nationals’ wrapped up in a big way earlier tonight at Volusia Speedway Park, as a $20,000 to win headliner capped off a huge tripleheader weekend in Barberville, Florida. In World of Outlaws Late Model Series qualifying, Chris Madden started off his evening by laying down the second quickest lap in Group B during the time trial session. January 23, 2026 - Night two of the 'Sunshine Nationals' took place earlier this evening at Volusia Speedway Park and another $12,000 winner's check was up for grabs. Chris Madden once again earned Fast Time honors during World of Outlaws Late Model Series qualifying and later secured another heat race triumph. "Smokey" was then battling for the second spot shortly after the halfway mark in the 35-lapper when battery issues sent him pitside. Unfortunately, Chris was relegated to a disappointing twenty-seventh place performance due to the mechanical trouble.

January 22, 2026 - The World of Outlaws Late Model Series kicked off their 2026 season tonight in the first round of the 'Sunshine Nationals' at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida. A 44-car field piled into the pit area at the Daytona Beach-area speedplant to do battle for the $12,000 first place prize money. Making his debut in the Infinity Chassis House Car with Wells Motorsports, Chris Madden swept the racing program by setting Fast Time in qualifying, winning his heat race, and leading all 35 circuits in the main event. MADDEN SET TO PILOT INFINITY CHASSIS HOUSE CAR!

December 11, 2025 - Chris Madden, of Gray Court, South Carolina, is excited to announce today that he will pilot the Infinity Chassis House Car in 2026 for Hazard, Kentucky-based Wells Motorsports! Chris, who racked up a trio of victories and several runner-up finishes in marquee events including in the Topless 100 and the Dirt Track World Championship last season, will return to racing full-time for the first time since he decided to sell his own race team in July of 2024. The Infinity Chassis House Car will be powered by a Clements Racing Engine and will be adorned by Chris’ iconic #44, as well as several of his longtime sponsors including Henderson Amusement and Millwood Plumbing. “I can’t thank David and Eric Wells enough for putting this deal together,” Madden said today via telephone. “They’ve always had a first-class operation with Brandon Overton and even dating back to when Eric drove himself. I’m extremely honored for them to restart their program and put me behind the wheel of their racecar. Infinity Chassis drivers have done very well all over the country since Wells Motorsports started building those cars and I’m excited to join the team!”

Preparing the #44 will be crew member Kent Fegter, who has worked for both Chris Madden Racing and Wells Motorsports in the past. Wyatt Hardison with Hardison Suspension Technology (HST) will also be a pivotal part of the team.

The Wells Motorsports team and driver Chris Madden will not follow a national tour schedule in 2026, but will instead chase the money and pick-and-choose where they will race throughout the year. Tentatively, the first three races on the schedule will be the Sunshine Nationals, which runs from January 22-24 at Volusia Speedway Park. The trio of World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series showdowns at the sprawling Barberville, Florida speedplant will shell out $12,000, $12,000, and $20,000 paychecks respectively.
